Archaeological Consultancy

At Heritage Architecture Ltd, we undertake historic and archival research relating to heritage assets and other sites in Archaeological Priority Areas. Based on an in-depth assessment of the Historic Environment Record and other key sources, including our extensive in-house archives we produce detailed Archaeological Desk-Based Assessments based on the guidance issued by the Chartered Institute for Archaeologists.

We can prepare Building Recording reports to discharge Planning Conditions, or as part of the Planning Application process. We undertake these based on guidance from Historic England and in consultation with Planning/ Archaeological officers of local authorities.
